Michael: Here's the informal way to ask 'Where is the station?' in Afrikaans.
Dewan: [Normal] Waar is die stasie?
Michael: First is a word meaning 'where'
Dewan: [Normal] waar [Slow] waar
Michael: Next is the word meaning 'is'
Dewan: [Normal] is [Slow] is
Michael: Next is the word meaning 'the'
Dewan: [Normal] die [Slow] die
Michael: Last is the word meaning 'station'
Dewan: [Normal] stasie [Slow] stasie
Michael: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the informal question meaning 'Where is the station?'
